  How long does it take to get reinstated ?

  How long did the whole process take ? Did you talk to an elder about trying to get reinstated after the your first meeting ? Where the people nice to you when you first came "back" ? Did the elders try to study with you; when you did get reinstated ? Sorry I came up with more questions after my first meeting "back".

  I'm just starting to return to the meetings, ( so that I can get reinstated and fade .) and I sat in the back school. When they said that was the "Special Talk"; I was like that felt like a regluar talk ( same old crap ! ).

  I was on private reproof for 1 year,,which if I remember right I couldn't answer or go out in service,,,my husband was disfellowshipped and when he started to come back to the meetings was reinstated after 6 months,,go figure

  I thought if you were on private reproof then you just can't comment ? When I was on private reproof they told me ( Central Compton Congregation ) that the only things that I can do is go out in field service and clean up after the meeting ( Yay! I get to clean the tolets. ), but I couldn't be an attendent at the assembly or comment at meetings .

  The congregation that disfellowshipped you is the only one that can reinstate you.

  If you move to a new congregation, that new congregation can write a letter to your old congregation recommending your reinstatement.

  I know this is true because my older brother was recently reinstated, and he had to do that.

  90% of the time the old congregation does what the new congregation recommends.

  Here's the problem elders are people too, and I don't want to waste a years time, and get rejected; I know that they automatically turn down the first letter, but they shouldn't turn down the second letter.

  But if the elders from your judicial committee remain in the old congregation, and they remember you, they can turn down the recommendation once, twice, 187 times if they choose to.

  If they do that, I'll quit, but my plan was just to get reinstated and fade anyway.

  Well here 's the story I've moved 70 miles north of Los Angeles, so I don't know how that works. Plus I cussed out the Coordinator of the Body of Elders, so I know there gonna do a "Carl Ford" on ( read my past stories to see who Carl Ford is ) me and waste my time . My father told me that they won't do this, and if that they turn me down three times then the new congregations can reinstate me and overule the old congregations. I don't think thats true at all.

  this past saturday, i was watching the georgetown/syracuse game, and a nike commercial was played during one of the breaks.

  i couldn't locate the exact commercial, but below is a variation of it that has scenes from the same one that aired on saturday.

  man did i feel some heavy resentment towards the wt during and especially after the commercial aired.

  I wish I could of played high school football, but I knew my parents wouldn't let me. This is why I think they should make a Jehovah Witness league too give the kids something to do, and maybe it will help keep the kids in.
